New Amex Centurion Lounge to Open at DEN

American Express is opening its newest Centurion Lounge at Denver International Airport. Centurion Lounges offer fresh, seasonally-inspired fare developed in partnership with renowned local chefs, signature cocktails, premium spirits and curated wines, and high-speed Wi-Fi. These services and amenities are offered at no additional cost once you enter the Lounge.

According to American Express:

This mountain escape embodies Colorado’s charm and scale. You can shoot pool, hit the Craft Beer Bar, or catch up on some work. You can also peruse our contactless Digital Library in a space inspired by Colorado’s Red Rocks.

The lounge will open on Monday, February 1 at 7 am. It will be open daily from 7 am – 3 pm.

Location

The Lounge is located post-security in Concourse C just past Gate C46 on the mezzanine level. Accessible to all gates in Concourses A, B and C – passengers must take train to reach Concourse C.

Food & Drink

The menu is inspired by Northern Italy from James Beard Foundation Award-winning Chef and local Colorado Restaurateur, Lachlan Mackinnon-Patterson. You’ll also find hot, fresh, locally sourced and health-conscious bites to enjoy from our Live Action Station.

You can also enjoy a cocktail developed by Jim Meehan. Meehan is one of the nation’s top mixologists, a contributing editor of FOOD & WINE, the deputy editor of FOOD & WINE’s annual cocktail guide, and the author of the PDT Cocktail Book: a bartender’s guide from his James Beard Award-winning bar.

You might choose to explore wines handpicked by renowned wine authority (and my personal friend) Anthony Giglio. Giglio is one of the most entertaining wine and spirits authorities on the planet. He has authored several books, including three editions of FOOD & WINE ‘s Wine Guide; five editions of the Mr. Boston Official Bartender’s Guide, and his highly regarded first book, Cocktails in New York.

In addition to the main bar, there’s also a Craft Beer Bar with gaming tables.
