New Amex Offers for Double Membership Rewards Points
American Express has come out with a number of new offers on their cards that earn Membership Rewards. For select online retailers, you can earn 2x Membership Rewards points on your purchases through December 31, 2016. These offers are not as lucrative as the cash incentives we often see with this program, but I might consider using an Amex card for some of these purchases for the extra point. Amex SPG 35k Signup Bonus for Limited Time
American Express is offering a limited time increased signup bonus for its Starwood Preferred Guest Personal and Business credit cards. You can get 35,000 bonus Starpoints after you use the new Card to make $3,000 in purchases within the first 3 months. The signup bonus is normally 25,000 Starpoints and I’ve only seen it as high as 30,000 in the past. This limited time offer ends March 30, 2016. Starpoints are a favorite for travelers not just because they have high value when you redeem at Starwood properties like Sheraton, Westin, and W Hotels. New Amex Offer – $60 Off $300 at Hilton Hotels
Yesterday, I wrote about an American Express offer to save $50 on you next $250 hotel stay. That offer is targeted to certain cardholders. Today, a new public Amex offer became available for $60 off your next $300 stay at a Hilton hotel. This offer is available via the Twitter hashtag #AmexHilton and via the “Offers for You” section of your americanexpress.com account. Since I was targeted for yesterday’s offer, I suddenly have the urge to book a weekend stay at a Hilton hotel. I see no reason why a $300 bill won’t trigger BOTH credits totalling $110.
